Strike team apprehends local fugitives

SOFAST, the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, is a group led by the U.S. Marshals and made up of representatives from various law enforcement agencies. The group's purpose is to serve active warrants, both local and federal, and apprehend wanted fugitives. SOFAST goes on daily roundups from 6 a.m. to noon.

Greene County fatal accident

Emergency and law enforcement officials investigate the scene of a tow truck crash on U.S. Route 35 just east of state Route 72 near Jamestown Monday, April 27. The driver was killed and a passenger flown to Miami Valley Hospital, officials said. A blown tire is being blamed for the crash.
