The beam is being located throughout Springfield and community members are invited to sign the beam before its placed in the new hospital during a "Topping Out" ceremony on Dec. 16.

Bus catches fire in Springfield
Members of Springfield Fire Division responded to a vehicle fire in the engine compartment of a bus transporting children to the Precious Gifts Day Care on Friday, Sept. 11 at the intersection Yellow Springs Street and Innisfallen Avenue The children were all removed from the bus safely and the fire was extinguished before it could spread to the rest of the bus.
