New D.A.R.E car
The new Clark County Sheriff's D.A.R.E. car is a 2000 Chevrolet Camaro that is a confiscated drug vehicle. Materials for the car were donated by Littelton & Rue Funeral Home, Goforth Limo and Stan's Tire Center.

Car slams into utility pole
An elderly man crashed his car into a utility pole Sunday, July 5, around 8:40 a.m. The car struck a pole on McCreight Avenue in front of Mike & Rosy's Deli, snapping it off. The man, who has not been identified, was taken by Care Flight to Miami Valley Hospital.

Elderly woman rescued from overturned car
A woman looks up at members of the Springfield Fire Division as she waits to be rescued from her overturned car Thursday on McCreight Ave. The woman apparently lost control of her car striking a street sign and tree which flipped the car on its side. She was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

5 injured in two-car collision
Firefighters from several Clark and Greene County departments cut a car apart to rescue the driver Thursday, July 9 after it collided head-on with the smoldering SUV in the foreground on Wilberforce-Clifton Road. The driver of the SUV was pulled from the vehicle by a passerby seconds before it was engulfed in flames. Two adults and three children total were transported to the hospital, two by CareFlight, following the crash.
